| Palermo is a big neighborhood and is divided into Palermo Chico and Palermo Viejo, and Palermo Viejo is subdivided into Palermo Soho and Palermo Hollywood. Palermo Viejo is Buenos Aires' most trendsetting spot, Palermo Soho has a bohemian feel and the most cutting-edge boutiques opened up by young fashion designers where you can find incredibly creative and well made clothes at very affordable prices. The epicenter of the area is Cortázar Square. On weekends, a handcraft and clothes fair is organized next to the numerous bars and pubs with terraces. Palermo Hollywood owes its name to the TV and radio stations located there and, like Palermo Soho, ethnic restaurants alternate with charming bars and cafes that are open all day long, the ideal option to combine a walk along the tree lined streets. |
